COVID-19 Statement

County Garage Group has put critical policies and procedures in place to ensure the safety of our staff and customers. During the nationwide fight against Coronavirus (COVID-19), we aim to open our services to you in the safest ways possible whilst remaining vigilant in the process and adhering to Government guidelines.

For that reason, we have introduced crucial steps we to keep everyone in our community as safe as possible at all times.

Social Distancing – County Garage Group are committed to meeting all guidelines set by the Government on social distancing and have enforced a two-metre distance rule. Work areas and furniture in the showroom have been organised. Notices, physical barriers and floor markings are in place to further guide staff and customers. 

Sanitisation – Sanitisation equipment is readily available across all dealerships. Customers will be encouraged to use hand sanitiser upon your first interaction. All key touch point areas are regularly sanitised. 

Risk Assessment – Risk assessments carried out for all on site facilities and processes are carried out to fulfil Government guidance so we can ensure your safety.

Protective Equipment – We have installed all necessary protective equipment in our showrooms in the group including Perspex Screens. In addition to this our employees have been given appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to allow interaction at a safe distance. Masks have to be worn by customers in all inside spaces and by staff where they have to work within a 2m distance for any length of time to facilitate work requirements. 
Work procedures and customer services. 
We currently offer unaccompanied test drives in our sales departments with full sanitisation before and after the Test-Drive. Our Service Department sanitise customer’s cars before and after servicing and have processes to fully air the car safely before and after servicing. Whilst we currently do offer an exterior courtesy wash after servicing we recognise there is an enhanced risk to our staff and customers and therefore only perform this service upon specific request currently. Courtesy lifts are currently suspended and courtesy car use is not routinely offered unless this causes severe difficulties and in an emergency. 
Regular Reviews – To ensure our safety measures are kept up to date we will review our procedures regularly whilst clearly communicating all processes and plans to staff and customers.

Routine Checks – Staff will be routinely monitored for COVID-19 symptoms via close management who have temperature checking equipment provided. Should a member of staff or a staff close family member show any symptoms our commitment to their wellbeing will result in the necessary time off work for the staff member to self-isolate. 
In addition staff members are encouraged to use the track and trace QR code placed at all entrances and adhere to any formal notification from NHS track and trace to self isolate.
