The new Kia XCeed in Barnstaple Devon

When life moves fast, the new Kia XCeed helps you keep up. This exciting crossover combines a refined ride and a higher ground clearance with sporty petrol and plug-in hybrid engines. It comes as standard with a reversing camera, lane keep assist, and intelligent stop & go, with over 8 more assistance systems available, including Smart cruise control with stop & go functionality (‘3 PHEV’). The PHEV offers up to 36 miles of pure electric driving, and you can charge from 10-100% at home in 2hrs 15mins at 3.3kW.

Trims include ‘2’, ‘3’, GT-Line, and GT-Line S. All versions have LED bi-function projection headlights and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. ‘3’ gets heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, an electronic parking brake, a smart key, rear parking sensors, and the top-spec 10.25” touchscreen. GT-Line S has a panoramic sunroof with tilt/slide, leather and suede seats, a drover’s memory seat, heated rear outer seats, a smart power tailgate, 40-20-40 split-fold rear seats, and a 12.3" TFT supervision cluster display.

Design

Classy by design, the new XCeed’s sporty profile, muscular body and higher ground clearance give it fantastic road presence. All models have silver roof rails, with ‘3’ models getting 18” alloy wheels. GT-Line S models have a panoramic roof.

Drive

The 1.5 T-GDi 158bhp ISG engine is a peach, producing 253Nm of torque from only 1,500rpm for flexible performance. The PHEV kicks out 139bhp/265Nm in hybrid mode, with a 36 mile EV range in EV mode to slash you running costs.

Practicality

The boot capacity stands at 426-litres for petrol models and 291-litres for PHEV models. The top-spec GT-Line S model has a few upgrades, including 40-20-40 split-fold rear seats, a smart power tailgate, and wireless phone charging.
